When speaking with US Weekly to promote her upcoming Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic memoir, Bunnie Xo admitted that there were challenges within the couple's sex life before Jelly Roll began to shed the pounds.
"We always had a sex life, but there were mountains and valleys that we had to go through — especially when he was so big," Bunnie Xo said. "Even when he was 500 pounds, this dude was an agile, big guy. I'm like, 'You are athletic under that meat suit.' Now that he has the weight off of him, he just gets to be who I always knew that he was, and I think it's brought a new sense of happiness to him. Any time he's happy, I'm happy."
Both Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo are open about their personal lives. So, the fact that Bunnie has discussed the struggles that came with her husband's weight should come as no surprise.
Jelly Roll Has Previously Addressed Intimacy Problems at His Higher Weight
During a recent appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Jelly Roll also opened up about the bedroom issues his weight caused.
"My sex life with my wife was horrible," Jelly Roll said. "Dude, I married a f---ing big-tit-ed, blonde, beautiful woman... The kind of woman that makes you smile when you cry. I couldn't even get aroused, I was so big."
Jelly Roll's comments were both blunt and revealing. Obviously, that point in his life wasn't an enjoyable one. Fortunately, through hard work and dedication, those challenges are a thing of the past. Jelly Roll is in the best shape of his life and is unlikely to encounter the same struggles in the bedroom.
It's rare to hear a couple with such a large platform speak about their sex life in such an open forum. However, neither of them appears to be sheepish about the subject, so hats off to them.
