Luke Combs is such a nice guy that it's hard to think that he has haters. Maybe all artists do. They are the perennial naysayers who dislike every new album, bad-mouth someone's concerts, and find fault with just about every aspect of an artist's existence. Combs does not let it get to him, though. After years of being in the public eye, he cultivated a snappy comeback for all the backlash, pushback, and negativity. His four-word retort probably stops it all cold.

To have a high-profile, public-facing role in any field, you need to develop a thick skin. And have a rock-solid belief in yourself, no matter what. It appears that Combs has done both, at least to an extent. He now knows exactly what to say to his detractors.
Combs Gets Back to His Signature Basics in His Forthcoming Album
The singer explored the meaningful life of a dad (which he actually is) in his poignant LP, Fathers & Sons. His next effort, The Way I Am, featuring 22 tracks, drops on Friday, March 20. It's a welcome return to Combs' chief country music strengths. That equals plenty of meaty storytelling, beautifully nuanced singing, and just plain being authentic and gritty as it gets.
Combs encapsulated the essence of the album in one pithy sentence when he spoke to Willie Geist of TODAY recently. "This album is just fastballs, you know, to just kind of be like, 'I still got it.'"
Kind of sounds almost like he is talking about sports. A career as a professional singer is somewhat similar. You are only as good as your last outing, in some people's minds. Luke Combs is back and he is ready with a slew of the relatable hit tunes that his followers absolutely love.
He Will Be Touring
Combs' web site lists his My Kinda Saturday Night Tour dates from March through August 2026. He will perform in places including Las Vegas, Montreal, London, Toronto, Sweden, Paris, Ireland, and at many venues in the United States.
Combs, who is 35 and a North Carolina native, will surely prove to everyone, doubters included, that he's still got it.
