HGTV has pulled Rehab Addict. The decision stems from a video that recently surfaced, showing host Nicole Curtis using a racial slur. The footage, which was originally published by RadarOnline, shows Curtis working on some renovation work when she casually uses the slur.

"Why? It's the last one. Oh, fart n*****," Curtis can be seen saying. "What the f*** is that I just said?" she said, to laughter from the HGTV crew off camera. "Nick, you gotta, you gotta, can you kill that? F*** my life."
As soon as the slur left Curtis' mouth, she immediately pleaded with the crew to remove the recording. She clearly understood the gravity of her mistake. Rehab Addict has been part of HGTV's offering since 2010. However, the show will no longer air on the station.
Shortly after her show was pulled by the network, Curtis posted a short statement on Instagram.
"There is more to this, but my family comes first, and I need to be mom right now more than anything else," Curtis wrote. ""I will take the time to be as I've always been with you, transparent and honest. TMZ called me as I had just turned my phone on after being at school — I said this briefly — but there is more."
A Source Claims the Nicole Curtis Has Circulated Around Production Crews
According to a source close to the situation, who was speaking with RadarOnline under the condition of anonymity, there is little sympathy for Curtis within the production industry.
"When something happens, we all know about it... this footage has made it around to the (production) community she (has) screwed over," the source continued. "You (Nicole) deserve everything you get. Treat us with dignity and respect, and quit making money off of our backs... You are a trash human."
HGTV has also issued a statement to US Weekly, regarding its decision to pull Rehab Addict.
"HGTV was recently made aware of an offensive racial comment made during the filming of Rehab Addict," the network said. "Not only is language like this hurtful and disappointing to our viewers, partners, and employees — it does not align with the values of HGTV."
Curtis is in very hot water right now. It's possible that we've seen the last of her on television. However, only time will tell.
