90-Year-Old Superfan, Who Has Been To Every Super Bowl, Says This Year Will Be His Last

Don Crisman, a 90-year-old NFL superfan will be attending his 60th and final Super Bowl later this month after an impressive run.

Don Crisman, a 90-year-old New England Patriots fan, has been to every Super Bowl in history. However, he has announced that this year, in what will be Super Bowl LX (60) will be his last.

"I didn't think I'd live this long," Crisman told WBZ-TV, via CBS News. "I had no idea I would get to this level. It just kept growing. A couple of times I said I'm going to quit."

The first Super Bowl was held in 1967. It took place in Los Angeles and saw Green Bay overcome Kansas City to become the first-ever Super Bowl champions.

When Crisman attended Super Bowl XXX (30), he told himself that it would be his final year. But, Crisman's love for the Patriots quickly changed that mentality, as they made it to Super Bowl XXXI (31). Of course, Crisman couldn't pass up the opportunity to see his favorite team back on the big stage.

"I had to go," he told WBZ-TV.

He's been to another 29 Super Bowls since then.

However, with his health declining, Crisman is happy to make this year his last. And, in return, he gets to see the Patriots chase history one more time.

"It's been a fun ride, but it's getting pretty expensive," he said. "Hopefully, we can win this one. This is a real, great surprise (the Patriots making the Super Bowl). Didn't think it was in the cards. This is it. I've had some health issues. I think it's time to let somebody younger have the seat."

Eli Manning Partners With King's Hawaiian To Create Line for 'Soft Fans'

There's no denying that Crisman is a super fan. Attending all 60 Super Bowls is an incredible achievement. However, not all football fans are die-hards. In fact, the vast majority fall into a category now being dubbed 'soft fans.'

And it's those 'soft fans' who are the target of Eli Manning's team up with Kings Hawaiian. The partnership is aimed at fans who love the snacks as much as the action.

"Fans love King's Hawaiian sliders for the taste and tradition," Manning said in a statement. "Soft fans show that love in a lot of creative ways, because being 'here for the food' is a winning strategy - and King's Hawaiian is here to support that."

The clothing collection, named "The Soft Fans Collection," is aimed at the foodie fans.

The collection in question will include a crewneck, long sleeve, hat and socks. The items will all have playful slogans such as "here for the food."

So, while a new super fan will have Crimson's seat next year, there will be plenty of love for the 'soft fans,' especially the ones bringing the snacks.
