70-year-old DeEtte Spencer hasn't been seen in days. According to the Garfield County Sheriff's Office, the senior citizen visited the grocery in Price at 10:30 p.m. on January 26. According to affiliate KTVX, she then disappeared.

Apparently, Spencer had just recently returned from a trip visit with family in Colorado. She had been driving a Buick Lucerne with a Utah license plate number E604JU. So far, authorities have not been able to track down the vehicle or Spencer.

The family had a GPS sharing feature on Spencer's iPhone. However, the device then stopped transmitting a signal, so the family hasn't been able to identify her location. Additionally, police haven't been able to ping the phone to get a location on Spencer either.

Missing After Walmart Visit

Strangely enough, Spencer wasn't supposed to be in Price at all. According to her family, she lived in Escalante, a town in southern Utah. But somehow she wound up in northern Utah instead. Then she went to Walmart? There are a lot of questions and gaps in this case.

Brad Allen, Spencer's younger brother, is afraid that she might be stranded somewhere. He said, "It's a scary time for us."

"We're really scared that she's out there somewhere, stuck in a snowbank or on a dirt road where she has no contact with anybody," Allen said.

Right now, authorities don't believe that there's foul play connected to the missing woman. After Spencer went missing, they activated a Silver Alert and a nationwide Attempt-to-Locate. But this was several days ago. Authorities have also checked hospitals across the state as well.

"Garfield County Sheriff's Office investigators have enlisted the assistance of many other agencies to expand the search area in multiple counties in Utah," wrote the Sheriff's Office in an updated news release on Wednesday afternoon. "The total search area covers approximately 10,000 to 15,000 square miles."

But Spencer does not have any medical issues that may have contributed to her disappearance.
