Stuart shared the news via a post on social media.

"Well, there's the slow hand - the Mojo Hand, the Winning Hand, the Unseen Hand, the Hard Working Hand, and then I fell down on a patch of ice and did an excellent job of hurting my hand and spraining my wrist, complete with a state-of-the-art hairline fracture. Good job, Marty!" he updated.

Stuart also provided further details in the caption, urging his fans to keep an eye on social media for updates on his upcoming February shows.

"Updates for February shows are coming soon, please keep an eye out on socials and your email. For any refund information, please contact your point of purchase," Stuart wrote. "Stay safe, everyone!"

Stuart's fall occurred during the winter storm that hit Nashville on January 25. The impact of that storm was significant, with multiple power outages and school closures. Fortunately, Stuart's injuries will heal, and he'll be back on the road and wowing fans in no time.

Marty Stuart's Upcoming Tour Is With Molly Tuttle

When Marty Stuart is cleared to get back on the road and back to playing music, he will be joined by Molly Tuttle. The Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and guitarist announced the "Molly x Marty: Guitars on Fire—The Cosmic Twang Tour" on social media.

In total, there were seven dates booked throughout February, starting in Bowling Green, KY on Feb. 5. As Stuart noted on his update, fans will need to watch out for an update as to whether that show is going ahead.

The last show of the tour is scheduled for Feb. 15 in New London, CT. Hopefully, Stuart will be able to make some of the tour dates, assuming his recovery goes to plan. If not, it will certainly be a missed opportunity, both for the fans and for Stuart and Tuttle.

Still, health comes first, and sometimes unforeseen accidents can occur.
