"Sounded Horrible Live": Fans Of Iconic 2000s Country Band Are Having Buyer's Remorse After Disappointing Concert

A clip from a recent performance by this legendary country band on TikTok is going viral for all the wrong reasons.

Country fans were pretty excited when Rascal Flatts announced new tour dates for 2026 last year.

However, as a recent clip of the trio has started making the rounds on TikTok, fans are wondering which version of the "Life Is A Highway" band they'll get.

Will it be a performance with the great three-part harmonies the group is known for, or will it be one that sounds like a bad American Idol audition?

Don't Adjust the Volume on That Rascal Flatts Clip

Spanning 21 dates over seven weekends, the "Life Is a Highway" tour is a celebration of Rascal Flatts' first album in eight years and the first since its 2021 breakup.

Life Is a Highway: Refueled Duets came out last year, and it features a new collaboration with the Jonas Brothers, the hit "I Dare You." It also has duets with Blake Shelton, the Backstreet Boys, and Kelly Clarkson. Lauren Alaina and Chris Lane are the openers.

But it sounds like this reunion has been anything but smooth riding. There are several clips floating around from a stop at the CHI Health Center in Omaha, Nebraska, on Jan. 24. And they all show Gary LeVox having a very bad night.

It's not one video taken from the nosebleeds. It's several clips of the vocalist singing off-key, forgetting lyrics, and just struggling with his performance.

Seeing Rascal Flatts live has to be one of my favorite concerts thus far. Nothing will change that even these videos ??. #rascalflatts #blessthebrokenroad #favoritesongs #concert #fyp

It's one thing to forget a song lyric here and there. But to completely blow an entire verse for a song that's as inescapable now as it was 20 years ago is just bad form.

Tickets for this show started at $43, by the way.

However, the Comments Were Top Notch

While clips from other dates from this Rascal Flatts tour don't prove that LeVox's performance in Omaha was part of a larger trend, some users did consider selling their tickets for the band's upcoming dates.

"I'm just gonna say this.... The Mic was on," wrote one user. "It shouldn't have been."

Another added, "I never asked for a refund to a concert I didn't attend before, but..."

One fan wrote, "There's so many sounds and so few words."

One even said, "I want a refund and I wasn't even there."
