"So excited to finally announce that my sophomore album 'Dandelion' will be out April 10th & the title track is yours this Friday! Welcome to Dandelionland ?" she wrote in the caption.
Then, hinting at some of the album's possible themes, she shared, "Dandelions are masters of survival, surviving in the harshest conditions."
"This record to me has so much growth in it. I feel the most myself I've ever felt. I want you to dance, I want you to sing, I want you to be able to relate to these words in a way where you don't feel alone in your thoughts." Langley continued, "I want you to not even worry about anything, and daydream and listen to these songs. I want you to enjoy them with your friends and family."
Dandelion already includes the track "Choosin' Texas", which gave Langley her first solo No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart. The song has been an important part of Langley's steady rise, and will no doubt be a favorite on the new record.
Dandelion Follows Ella's Incredible Breakout Year
Langley first hinted at a new project with a countdown set for January 27 on her website about a week ago. Now, she can't wait to welcome fans into the new universe she's been busy creating.
This past year has been an absolute whirlwind for Ella, who not only took home the 2025 ACM for New Female Artist but also made her rounds on the touring circuit this summer. When she's not opening for the likes of Riley Green and Morgan Wallen, in addition to headlining her own tour, Ella Langley is busy making new music for her fans, which she did with the sensational "Choosin' Texas".
Dandelion follows the release of Ella's debut album, hungover, which peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. That album also brought fans the "you look like you love me" duet, which earned Langley and Riley Green 4 CMAs this year.
"I've thought about this record every single day for the last year and a half," Langley says of Dandelion in her Instagram trailer. "And I'm so excited to finally say, 'Welcome to Dandelion.'"
