A dog is more than "just a pet." They're family, so when they leave home, their loss can feel terribly painful. Lee Brice recently told his fans on social media that his family's dog, Charlee, has gone missing. To make a bad situation worse, the black dog is pregnant. We have more details below.

Lee Brice Wants Charlee To "Hang On"
Brice posted a carousel of adorable photos of Charlee on Instagram yesterday, making it hard not to feel for him and his family as they search everywhere for their four-legged friend.
"Two weeks ago, our sweet girl Charlee slipped away from home, and our hearts have been heavy ever since," he wrote in the caption. "She's not just a dog, she's family. She's pregnant, carrying those little pups, and every day that passes without her safe in our arms feels like a lifetime. We've searched every back road, called every shelter, and prayed harder than we ever have."
He added, "Charlee, if you're out there, hang on, my pretty girl. Daddy's coming for you."
Brice Is Asking Fans for Help
The "Hard to Love" singer needs fans' help finding Charlee.
"To everyone reading this, y'all know how much our four-legged friends mean to us country folks," wrote Brice. "If you've seen a pregnant dog that looks like her, or heard anything at all, please message me, comment below, or share this post. Any little clue could bring her home to her babies... and to us.
"Thank y'all from the bottom of this worried heart. Your kindness and prayers mean the world. She could be anywhere in or around the Nashville area... by now she could be anywhere from way south of Franklin, to past Dickson west of town, or any surrounding areas."
Advice for Brice and his family has flooded the post's comments.
One user wrote, "Post on all local 'Lost Pets' Facebook pages. They are very successful here. Praying!!"
"Definitely look into thermal drone companies," added another user. "I live in the Youngstown, Ohio area and we use them often to locate lost pets. Set clothes or blankets out on the porch with some food—she might be able to smell her way home. Also, let your local shelters, vets, and police stations know. I hope you find your sweet girl!"
