With the College Football Playoff National Championship scheduled for tonight, there are two questions on the minds of fans:
Videos by Wide Open Country
- Can University of Miami's Carson Beck outperform the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers?
- Is the quarterback currently in a relationship with fellow student and former adult film actress Abella Danger?
While we're certainly not qualified to answer the first question, we can certainly share why people are wondering about the answer to the latter. We have the details below.
Didn't Carson Beck Transfer to the University of Miami for Love?
It is a possibility. When Beck joined the Hurricanes, he was involved with Hanna Cavinder, a star on the school's basketball team.
Observers noted that the couple seemed to define the NIL era of the NCAA. In addition to her skills on the court, Cavinder is known as a social media influencer. Many wondered what the two could accomplish when they joined forces in Coral Gables, Florida.
After a year of dating, however, Beck and Cavinder broke up in April 2025. It appeared far from an amicable split, as Cavinder posted a clip of her lip-syncing to the Tate McRae breakup song "bloodonmyhands".
"Fallin' for you is a damn disease. Holdin' it down, I knew you was messin' around, you wanna go play in the streets," the track says.
Regarding the breakup, Beck told ESPN, "You make mistakes as a person, but it sucks that you have to go through something like that with someone that you care about, and now it's all over the Internet."
So Who Is the QB Dating Now?
Following the breakup, speculation has continued about Beck's personal life. Part of the QB's success is credited to his ability to strong-arm any distractions that come his way. Many believe he is not currently dating anyone, at least publicly.
However, a post by social media user Shane Tuttle alleged that Beck and former porn star Danger were dating. This speculation gained interest, but Tuttle's bio clearly states, "Everything I do is Satire."
Danger enrolled at the University of Miami to pursue a law degree and has frequently attended football games, posting about them online. A video clip of her on ESPN during a playoff game went viral.
However, neither Beck nor Danger has confirmed a relationship.
