Former Nickelodeon Child Star Dead at 33 Following Hit-and-Run

Kianna Underwood was reportedly killed by a hit-and-run incident in Brooklyn, New York, on Friday, January 16.

Kianna Underwood, a former Nickelodeon child star, has died following a hit-and-run accident in Brooklyn. The incident, which occurred on Friday morning, reportedly saw Kianna get dragged down two blocks.

The All That star suffered severe trauma to her head and torso, according to TMZ.

"Law enforcement sources tell TMZ the 33-year-old who appeared on the 2005 series 'All That' suffered severe trauma to her head and torso," TMZ reported. " ...When a gray vehicle, driven by an unknown suspect, was traveling west on Pitkin Avenue and struck her as she crossed the street at Pitkin and Mother Gaston Blvd."

The incident occurred during the early morning, with a 911 call reportedly being logged at 6:49 in the morning. Kianna was motionless in the road.

Kianna is best known for her role in All That, a 1990s children's show on Nickelodeon. She played various roles across her seven appearances on the show. She also held a role on Little Bill, starring as Fuchsia. Kianna's first foray into the acting world came in 2009. She played Tanessha Labelle in the movie The 24 Hour Woman.

During her time on Nickelodeon, Kianna worked with some huge names, including Nick Cannon and Kenan Thompson.

Angelique Bates Previously Tried To Help Kianna Underwood

Kianna's previous co-star, Angelique Bates, previously told her social media followers that Kianna was homeless.

In a 2023 post on her Instagram page, Angelique wrote that Kianna was in desperate need of help.

"Angelique accused people who appeared on 'All That' of acting like cast members are one big family, and then being selective with who they try to help," TMZ reported. "She also did not reveal who else on the Nickelodeon sketch show was in a similar situation to Kianna, but was receiving aid."

Upon learning of Kianna's death, Angelique did not appear to be too surprised.

"Y'all have no idea how much this one hurts...Sick to my stomach....So many people failed baby girl," she wrote on Instagram.

Currently, there is no further information regarding Kianna's death. The police are likely still investigating the incident.
