The famous beer brand is bringing back the 99-can pack of its lager just in time for the big game on Feb. 8. It's part of a collaboration with Toho International, the producers of the famous Japanese monster movie franchise Godzilla.
But if you want one of these giant cases for your next shindig, you had better act fast! We have all the details below.
Pabst Blue Ribbon Doesn't Need a Commercial To Get Your Attention
This ginormous pack of suds features art by Peter Santa-Maria, better known as ATTACK Peter.
"The 99 pack is one of the coolest things I've ever seen, so I brought in Ghidorah and Mechagodzilla flying into action, plus Mothra's larva crawling its way onto the package," he said in a press release. "It's wild seeing my artwork turn into something fans all over the country can collect."
And let's face it, seeing this box of brew has a better chance of getting your attention than some television ad.
"It's not our style to spend millions of dollars for a few seconds of airtime," said Rachel Keeton, senior brand director at Pabst Blue Ribbon. "Instead, we're getting in on the post-season action in a way our drinkers can have some fun with. The Godzilla 99 Pack is here to loudly crash tailgates and watch parties everywhere."
If You Want This Kaiju-Sized Pack of Brew, You'd Better Move Quickly
If you and your friends are ready to lay waste to the nearly 100 cans of beer inside this oversized package, you'd better get your mitts on one soon. There will be only 4,000 available nationwide.
"This collaboration represents the intersection of pop culture, art, and lifestyle," said Kristin Parcell, general manager of Toho International. "Seeing the Godzilla universe come to life across an entire 99 Pack shows how fans can experience Godzilla beyond the screen."
If you and your crew somehow manage to conquer this beast of brew, don't forget to find a safe way home.
