Jay Allen is looking to set the record straight over his divorce from country singer Kylie Morgan. In a recent post on Instagram, Allen, who rose to fame on The Voice, claimed that his now ex-wife was having an affair behind his back.

"To set the record straight ... my ex had an affair on ME, and that was why we got divorced," he wrote on Instagram. "I found out in the fall of 2024, and that it was happening behind my back in my home. I was already unhappy as she did not support my sobriety and was obviously trying to hide something, but this gave me a reason to move on. Today I'm 19 months sober, newly engaged and truly happy."
Allen then continued, claiming that the time had come to essentially clear his name after what was effectively a disparaging press run from his former wife.
"As most of you know, in May, I publicly shared my divorce with my ex," he wrote. "However, there's much more to the story I had initially decided not to share. At the time, it was important to me to take the high road and simply try to find healing and peace."
The post didn't stop there, though, as Allen continued...
"Unfortunately, I've had to sit back and quietly watch my ex run my name through the mud, sharing songs on social media that falsely depicted me as a bad husband with a 'black heart,'" he added. "If you know me, you know how well I treated her, but I continued to stay quiet."

Allen has clearly moved on from his split with Morgan. The couple recently posted a picture to Instagram, with Allen down on one near in a room full of Christmas decorations and presents.
"SHE SAID YES!!!!!" the caption read. "Merry Christmas to my beautiful @renee_lynn_r. With a sober mind, I can confidently say that I'm in love with you and want a family with you. God only knows what we've both been through to get here. Thank you for waiting for me. My gift is you."
Both Allen and Morgan have moved on since their split. However, it's clear that the war of words is still ongoing. Fans will now be hoping that both will begin to focus on their new lives and start looking forward, rather than back.
