Lady A's Hillary Scott has welcomed a baby girl! Scott announces on social media that she gave birth on July 25 to Selah Jean. The baby is the fourth girl Scott shares with her husband, Chris Tyrrell. Selah Jean joins siblings Eisele Kaye, who is 12, and 7-year-old twins Emory JoAnn and Betsy Mack.

"We are over the moon to introduce you to Selah Jean! She was born 7/25/25," the couple shares with People. "She has filled our hearts with joy and her sisters are already the BEST helpers."
"Her name means 'pause and reflect' and 'God is gracious,' and in the few short days she's been here with us, we can already see that she embodies both of those phrases," the couple reveals. "She truly feels like the most priceless gift — like Christmas in July!"

In February, Scott announced her pregnancy, also revealing that this would be the final addition to the family. She also revealed at the time the gender of their latest arrival.
"Chris, Eisele, Emory, Betsy, and I are overjoyed to report that this summer our family will be made complete with the most precious little SISTER joining the family," Scott writes on social media. "I'm dusting off that maternity bin from the storage room ONE more time."

In March, fellow band member Charles Kelley also revealed he and his wife, Cassie, were expecting. Their new baby, a boy, is due this fall. Kelley admits the pregnancy was a big, and happy, surprise.
"It's all been an interesting thing to wrap my head around," Kelley tells American Songwriter. "But we're just trying to enjoy the moment of it all. Obviously, with a little bit of an older pregnancy, you worry, and we're still keeping an eye on it all. But everything seems really good so far. Everything seems healthy."
