Jon Pardi Reveals The Hardest Part Of Being On Tour Right Now

Jon Pardi is headlining plenty of large venues this summer, as part of his Honkytonk Hollywood Tour, along with performing for various festivals. Pardi's touring schedule is what he once used to dream about, but now admits is bittersweet, since it means he has to leave his two young daughters.

"There's definitely a tough thing leaving," Pardi admits to Taste of Country Nights.

Pardi's youngest daughter, Sienna, turns one on July 16, so she doesn't really understand. But two-year-old Presley is well aware of what it means when she sees her parents getting ready to go, especially if Pardi's wife Summer is joining him on the road.

"Especially if Summer is going, and we're leaving her with like the grandparents, or even for a night out, when she sees the bags and stuff, it's like a big deal."

It's not easy, but the California native keeps working harder than ever, to support his family.

"It definitely gets harder and harder," he admits. "But I gotta go out and do what I do. I got all kinds of responsibilities."

Jon Pardi's Wife And Two Daughters

Pardi and Summer wed in 2020. Now happily married with two young daughters, Pardi admits he could be done having children. But it's his good friend, Kane Brown, who is encouraging Pardi to try to have a son before they call their family complete.

"Kane goes, 'Gotta do the third," Pardi reveals on Country Countdown USA. "It's gonna be a boy. We were worried. It happened for us.' I said, 'There's no guarantee it's not gonna be another girl.' He said, 'Naw, it's gonna be a boy.' We're just enjoying our two kids now."

Having a toddler and a baby keeps Pardi on his toes, but he loves every minute of being a dad to two little girls.

"Presley is two, so she's always coloring," Pardi shares. "She loves her books, she likes to have us read to her. She's a smart little girl."

Presley sadly will need to say goodbye a lot more often over the next several months. Pardi's tour doesn't wrap up until November 8. Keep track of updates at JonPardi.com.
