Unfortunately, Walker recently had to cancel a show, after experiencing side effects from one of his treatments.

"Dear friends and country music fans, I recently had a procedure that could really help my MS," the traditional country music singer writes on social media. "Unfortunately I've got some side effects that have left me unable to perform tonight at Timberwood Amphitheater in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I really tried my best to pull through for you all, which is why I waited until this morning to make this call. I look forward to returning to Arkansas soon, and I'm bummed to miss you all tonight. We will see everyone back out on the road soon!"

Walker's canceled concert was to take place on Saturday, June 14. Currently, Walker's next scheduled tour date is on Tuesday, June 17 at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.

Clay Walker's Role In The New Randy Travis Biopic

Walker has a lot to keep him busy besides his country music career. Walker recently announced he is executive producing and starring in the forthcoming Randy Travis biopic, Forever and Ever, Amen.

"They're going to have the young Randy, the kid, and then the 20 to 30-something. And then I'm going to play the 40 to 50. I don't know why they didn't pick me for the 20," Walker says. "But this is a dream come true. We've been talking about this for a long time. And a lot of times these things never come to fruition. But the good Lord has had his hand in this, and we're gonna make the best movie about this man's life."

Travis has had numerous opportunities presented to him to do a film about his life. Still, it wasn't until Walker got involved that Travis was ready to proceed.

"We've been approached many times through the years about doing a movie... but the timing or team has never felt quite as good as it feels right now," Travis says. "With Clay on our side, and the creative direction he and the producers have, I feel good about telling my story through this medium."
