Country Fans Left Devastated as Chris Stapleton is Forced to Cancel Start of Tour

Chris Stapleton just issued some disappointing news to his fans. Stapleton announces on social media that the start of the new leg of his All-American Road Show Tour is being delayed, due to a situation beyond his control.

"Critical pieces of our tour production were damaged beyond repair while en route to Greenville," Stapleton writes. "Unfortunately, without that equipment, we are unable to put on the show.

Stapleton goes on to reveal that the original date of June 4 in Greenville, South Carolina will now take place next month instead.

"The Greenville show is rescheduled for Wednesday, July 9," Stapleton says. "All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new date. For those unable to attend the rescheduled date, please contact your point of purchase. Refund requests through Ticketmaster must be submitted by Tuesday, June 24.

"The All-American Road Show will now start in Charlottesville on Friday, June 6," the Grammy winner continues, expressing remorse over the situation. "Greenville, we appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. We look forward to seeing you on July 9."

Fans React To Chris Stapleton's News

Fans were understandably disappointed to hear the news. Fortunately, most were also understanding, as the situation was beyond his control.

"This is terribly upsetting," writes one fan. "I bought these tickets for my husband for his birthday who has been trying to see CS since 2020. I'm 30 weeks pregnant and will be 36 weeks then. I don't know if we can attend now and I'm just devastated."

"Hoping no one was hurt in the process!" says another. "Seeing the Roadshow for the 6th time this August!"

Not everyone was as understanding, with some expressing extreme disappointment.

"Just spent 6 hours on a plane from the West Coast," says one Stapleton fan. "First thing I see when I land. So cool."

Stapleton's next show now takes place on June 6 in Charlottesville, Virginia. He also has several shows this summer with George Strait, as part of Strait's Stadium Tour. Stapleton currently has tour dates on the calendar through the beginning of November.
