Jason Aldean has a new album coming out, and it features a few guest artists. Aldean, whose last album, Highway Desperado, was released in 2023, says his next record is almost completed, and will have a few duets on it.

"We [have] been in the studio a lot," Aldean tells Taste of Country. "Probably like the last eight months or so, six to eight months. Pretty much done with the album, at least my part."
The country music superstar doesn't name names, but he does hint that there will be more than one artist joining him on his next record.
"It's been a cool project," the father of four teases. "A lot of songs. Couple duets in there too, so it's gonna be pretty cool ... A couple, two, three, we'll see. Some of that stuff is still in the works.
"There's a couple of songs in the works that I know are going to be duets," he adds. "Then there's one, maybe two that we still kind of haven't found our partner for that yet."
Jason Aldean's "Friends Like That" Duet
Aldean is no stranger to duets. He's sung with several artists, including releasing massive hit singles with Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood. He also had a recent No. 1 hit with John Morgan, on "Friends Like That." The son is from Morgan's freshman Carolina Blue album.
"When we started, it was more of a serious thing," Morgan recalls on Country Countdown USA. "We got halfway through, and made it more lighthearted. It wasn't originally a duet. It was already tee'd up, and just needed your thing on it. I'm stoked it went that way."
"I'm glad you asked me to be on it," Aldean adds.
Aldean not only sang on "Friends Like That" with Morgan, but he also let Morgan use his property to film the video.
"The video starts with me in this fireworks shop," Morgan remembers. "I'm getting some fireworks together, we're gonna blow stuff up, and let some steam off. We needed a place to do this, and you were cool enough to let us use your property. It was pouring rain. We were able to get a shot off. Thanks to Jason for getting drenched with us and letting us use your property. I won't forget it, that's for sure."
Aldean has a Top 5 hit with "Whiskey Drink." The song is likely the last single from his Highway Desperado record.
