The Scorpions, famous for their track 'Rock You Like A Hurricane' among others, have had to cancel their third show amid health concerns of their lead singer.

Lead singer of the rock band, Klaus Meine, has been suffering from a respiratory infection that has led to three consecutive show cancellations on their 2025 tour. The latest cancellation is in Quito, Ecuador. This follows the same situation for both Buenos Aires and Bogota.
The 76-year-old lead singer of rock band The Scorpions has been unable to use his voice at all. He is suffering from what they suspect is laryngitis. You can hardly expect him to front a rock band without a voice.
The group has made a sincere apology to their expectant South American fans. "Klaus has still not recovered from the virus that forced the recent Buenos Aires and Bogota cancelations for Scorpions and was diagnosed with a bacterial bronchitis, which caused his unfortunate inability to sing," they posted to Facebook. "The band sends their deepest apologies to all their loyal fans in Ecuador and are again extremely disappointed not to be able to play in one of their favourite countries."
Fans Upset By The Scorpions Last Minute Change
Many fans of The Scorpions are immensely put out by the last-minute change of schedule. As a lot of them have pointed out, they knew about his issues and could have let them know earlier. Now, people planning to see the rock band have wasted tickets and bookings to deal with.
"It's not fair—I spent over $150 for nothing. A total disappointment from the band and the organizers. They deceived us," a fan laments. Furthermore, "it was only right and necessary to inform us in advance. It's not fair—we were scammed. The concert was originally just Scorpions. It's not fair."
They are not alone in these feelings either. The comment section is full of people who have lost out a lot of money due to The Scorpions' bad management of his ill health. They know it will take time for him to heal because he is an old man. Some advance warning would have been much better for all involved.
