In March, not long after losing her dear husband Dean, Dolly Parton surfaced for a Dollywood parade, where she was met with incredible love and support. But one fan in particular was happier to see her than most others.
An 8-year-old completely lost it when Dolly Parton rode by. His reaction went incredibly viral. He was going so crazy that even Dolly Parton noticed him in the parade, and found his reaction both hilarious and endearing.
Well, we finally get a formal reaction. Dolly Parton recently went on the Today Show, where they showed her the clip for her insight.
Naturally, Parton remembered the little boy, and shared that all she wanted to do was hop out the carriage and squeeze him. "I was thinking, 'Honey, are you gonna have a heart attack and die right here in front of everybody?'"
"It was the sweetest thing," she remembers fondly.
