Garth Brooks is notoriously a pretty big crybaby. He's one of the most emotional celebrities in the world, frequently crying during live streams or speeches for his wife. Oftentimes, it just feels like he's putting on a front, desperately trying to drum up sympathy from fans. Moreover, I don't think he really needs or deserves it. Spend roughly 10 minutes reading through his sexual assault lawsuit and you'll feel particularly thorny to Brooks.

So if he's sensitive about a bunch of nothing, you can imagine how Garth reacts when someone actually makes fun of him. Now, we have proof that he's sensitive over pretty much everything. Recently, comedy country singer Cledus T. Judd went on the Try That In a Small Town podcast. There, he opens up about decorated career making parodies of different country songs. One notable record is "In Another Size," a spoof on Garth's duet with his wife Trisha Yearwood "In Another's Eyes." Apparently, the country crooner took exception to this because he worried it would affect his Grammy odds.
Garth Brooks Confronts Cledus T. Judd Over Song Parody
Consequently, Brooks squares up to Judd over his parody record to let him know he didn't appreciate it. "And you'll never guess who the one guy out of all the people that we know came up to me and said, 'Hey, I got a problem with this.' Garth Brooks," Cledus says. "I was at Hermitage golf course, I walked into the parking lot, and he's like 'Hey, are you Cledus?' And I said 'Yeah.' And he said, 'Well, I'm not a fan.' I said, Well, get in line.' You know?
Then, Brooks essentially tries to barter with Judd to hold off on his spoof until after the GRAMMYs were over to share his song. "And Garth said, 'Man, that thing is up for a Grammy, we don't want anything to compete.' And when he said 'compete,' my chest bowed out you know?" Cledus recalls. "So he said, 'We'd appreciate if you would just hold off until after the awards.' I said, 'Are you kidding me?' You've sold more records than the Beatles and you're worrying about some lowly comedian keeping you from winning the Grammy?'"
Cledus proceeds with his release anyway and Garth wins his Grammy so it all works out anyway. But I can imagine a universe where Brooks tries to work behind the scenes to tank Judd's career if he didn't take home any precious hardware.
