We all have our nightly routine, even someone as big as Paul McCartney whose before bed habits are actually remarkably normal.

It's always interesting to know about the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Sometimes it's hard to imagine them living normal lives like the rest of us plebs. But, the few occasions Paul McCartney has opened up about his private life, he's just a regular dude.
Answering questions on Q&A section of his website, Paul McCartney explained his routine before bed. "I always read before bed, usually a biography, while Nancy finishes watching a series. We're pretty much like any other normal couple!"
So, no weird rituals, sacrifices to the old gods, or illicit acts. Paul McCartney just does the same as the billions of others out there. He just does it laying on silk sheets under multiple framed golden records.
Downtime For Paul McCartney Isn't All That Mysterious
The Ex Beatles star is not the wild man he once was, instead preferring a life of peace and quiet with his wife, Nancy. Long gone are the days of protests, rock 'n' roll and week long benders. Now, it's quiet meals, a good TV show, and a comfy sofa instead.
The question posed to Paul McCartney asked what he liked to do with his downtime. His response was what you would expect from any other 85-year-old. "We chat and catch up with each other. We eat lunch or dinner. Well, any meal really, as we love cooking. Sometimes we will watch something on TV together."
Of course, while he isn't relaxing, he has many other responsibilities he has to take care of. He didn't get away with being one of the biggest names in music without a few expectations from the public. He still has tours to do and live shows to attend. There is also all the fan service has to keep up with. He hasn't retired yet.
But, for getting into bed at the end of a long day, Paul McCartney is just like any of us. A Day in the Life of Paul McCartney isn't anything crazy, it seems.
