The news was shared in Agrawal's 359K+ Instagram account, The Misha Agrawal Show. The post was captioned, "Our loss is unimaginable. We have no words. Take care."
"It is with a heavy heart that we share the heartbreaking news of Misha Agrawal's passing," the statement read. "Thank you all for the love and support you showed her and her work. We are still trying to come to terms with this immense loss."
"Please keep her in your thoughts and continue to carry her spirit in your hearts."
Mish Cosmetics, the hair oil brand that Misha Agrawal ran, also confirmed the news by issuing a statement of its own.
"We are heartbroken to share that our founder, Misha Agrawal, has passed away," the statement read. "She built MishCosmetics.in and Mish Hair Oil with love, passion, and a dream to make a difference."
The brand shared with its customers that all orders will be processed and delivered, but asked for patience given the extreme circumstances surrounding Agrawal's death.
"Thank you for standing with us, for your endless love, and for believing in Misha's dream. Let's continue to keep her spirit alive — together."

Shaken by the news, many fans took to Agrawal's social media accounts to grieve her death. While many paid their respects and expressed their sadness, many others were, also understandably, seeking answers. Some theorized that Agrawal's death was some sort of publicity stunt. Others, however, even ventured to say that Agrawal had taken her own life.
However, no information regarding Agrawal's death has been confirmed at the moment. According to the New York Post, Agrawal's sister, Er Mukta, addressed Misha's death and the discourse online.
"Guys, please don't panic," Er Mukta wrote. "You deserve to know this news, which is why we're sharing the update now. We're not in a position to explain the hows and whys at the moment. Please take care."
