Taylor Boylan, a 30-year-old hockey player from Canada, wound up missing for 30 hours. He was last spotted in Jason Aldean's Kitchen + Rooftop Bar. What happened to him remains a mystery, although thankfully, he's now safe.

News Channel 5 reporter Nick Beres has been all over the story and

providing updates via Facebook.

Early Saturday morning, on April 26, Taylor Boylan went missing. He was out with his hockey teammates at Aldean's bar, but they lost him around 1 am.

Learning of his being missing, Beres shared a

video taken of Boylan in the bar by a teammate. Beres encouraged people to share the video and pictures to try and track down where he went. In the video, he was drinking from what appears to be a can of beer and dancing with an unidentified woman.

In the video, he didn't appear drunk or disorientated. Not long after, he was reported missing to the Metro PD. Fear over his well-being spread throughout his family, and his brother immediately grabbed a flight from Vancouver to Nashville to help search for him.

He was found 30 hours later in a McDonald's.

Taylor Boylan Likely Drugged And Robbed Before Being Left In A Field

Thanks to Beres' post being relentlessly shared, someone identified Taylor in a McDonald's in Hermitage. A witness found him in the fast food restaurant and spoke to him before tipping off Nick Beres, who then contacted the police.

Thankfully, he turned out to be Taylor and was reunited with his family. When

speaking with Beres, Boylan said that he's "not exactly sure what happened, but there's a large gap of time missing from the nighttime to early morning."

"I woke up in a field missing my Apple Watch, wallet emptied out except my IDs, and no phone. Went to the hospital yesterday for tests, but they couldn't detect anything abnormal in my system which they said was the unfortunate but likely outcome with those tests. Physically, I feel fine — just bumps and bruises scattered on my body."

A worrying story for sure. Although it's very unclear what happened to him from his sudden departure to his 30-hour hiatus, but people following the story believe he was drugged, led away from the bar, and robbed.

This is purely speculation, however. And it's unlikely the culprits will be found if this is the case.

Ultimately, he's found, safe, and doing okay.
