The Tiger King star, Joe Exotic, 62, months after announcing his engagement, has married his 33-year-old fiancé, Jorge Marquez Flores, in prison. Exotic is currently serving a 21-year sentence for attempted murder for hire and 17 federal animal abuse charges. Marquez is serving time for immigration crimes.

Exotic posted the news on X, sharing a picture of both wearing black tuxedos, white boutonnières, and white hats.
"Never been more proud of someone," Exotic captioned his post. "Meet my husband Jorge Flores Maldonado."
Exotic's marriage comes months after announcing his engagement with Marquez back in October 2024. Back then, he announced the news saying that he sought to get him asylum in the United States or even emigrate with him.
"Meet Jorge Marquez he is 33. He is so amazing and is from Mexico," Exotic wrote at the time. "Now, the quest of getting married in prison and getting him asylum or we be leaving America when we both get out. Either way, I wish I would have met him long ago."

According to CBS News, Jorge Marquez Flores is serving time in prison for immigration crimes. According to Soap Central, Joe Exotic revealed back in March that Flores was deported in a now-deleted post.
"They took him away from me today to deport him 2 days before my birthday," Exotic wrote at the time. "Now you want me to beg you @realdonaldtrump to let me out so I can go save him."
Shortly after, however, Exotic revealed that Flores was, in fact, not deported. This allowed them to get married just a month later.
"For my Birthday the Trump Administration has inherited the Bureau of Prisons in such a mess that no one knows what the hell is going on that they Did NOT deport Jorge," Exotic wrote at the time. "We have 3 more months to work on his asylum case or get Trumps GOLD card."
This is Joe Exotic's third marriage. Exotic, real name Joseph Maldonado, married Travis Maldonado back in 2015. Two years later, however, Travis fatally shot himself. Two months later, Exotic married Dillon Passage. He would divorce Passage in 2020.
Joe Exotic is serving a 21-year sentence for attempting to hire a hitman to kill Carole Baskin. He also violated multiple wildlife laws, which included killing and selling tigers.
