Blake Shelton is yet again promoting his upcoming album, allowing fans a sneak peek at one of the songs that has garnered a lot of media attention.

The country singer has been taking to his Instagram a lot recently to promote his next album, For Recreational Use Only. He previously announced the sweepstakes for the briefcase used in the "Texas" music video, and he's back encouraging people to pre-save the album.
Now, not only will pre-saving the album get you loads of new entries into the sweepstakes, it'll also get you a sneak peek at a new song from the album.
In the video, he says, "My new album For Recreational Use Only drops soon on May 9th. But if you pre-save right now, you'll unlock something special." Just don't get your hopes up too high.
"It's kind of like when you find an extra beer in the cooler after you thought it was empty," he quips. Honestly though, I'd be happier with the extra beer.
"So go ahead, hit that pre-save right now."
Despite keeping the secret in the video, Blake Shelton spoils the surprise in the caption.
"Y'all pre-save "For Recreational Use Only" NOW for your chance to get a sneak peek at something new... might be a clip of the new song with @gwenstefani but I'm not saying anything... link in bio and check back weekly for your chance to unlock more exclusive content."
Pre-Save Blake Shelton's Album To Hear 15 Seconds Of A New Song
If you click on the link in his Instagram bio, you'll be directed to his website. If you follow the prompts to pre-save the album on your Spotify account, then you'll unlock a sneak preview of an included single, "Hangin' On."
This breakup song, which is a duet with his wife Gwen Stefani, will feature in the album and has gained some media attention before thanks to the incessant rumors about their relationship status.
I've listened to the 15-second preview, and it's okay. Like I said, I'd rather have the extra beer, but then again, I've never been a huge fan of songs like this. Shelton previously called the song "badass," but I can't really hear it, to be honest.
Make sure to check back each week leading up to the album drop for more exclusive content like this, however. Maybe next week's will be a little more exciting.
