I don't know what it is about Jessica Simpson that gets the scumbags of the internet riled up, but those jealous little keyboard warriors just wont stop picking on her.

I think maybe it's because they know she doesn't deal well with the abuse. In the past, Jessica Simpson has been open about how she struggles to block out the hate. She almost completely retired from music altogether after the 'Mum Jeans' debarkle.
Being in the public eye, it's incredibly important not to dip too deep into the cesspit of social media. There isn't any training available to help people tune it out, and there should be. Back in 2009, Jessica Simson decided to wear a pair of high-waisted jeans, and the media went in on her.
They were a perfectly fine pair of jeans, and I think she looked great. But the internet needed someone to pick on, and Jessica Simson got it in the neck. She was endlessly ribbed for her clothing choice. "This picture that circulated and went worldwide broke my heart," she told Hoda Kotb on the Today show. "Not the picture necessarily, but the caption. Like, all the captions," she continued.
The bullying got to Jessica Simson on a deep level, too. "I was taken down by the world," she said, and that she felt "a dysmorphia set in." She slipped into a battle with pills and alcohol. You would think that this was enough for the bullies to back off, but they've spotted an easy target in Jessica Simpson and won't let her alone.
Jessica Simpson Raises The Rabble With Her Lips
Now, it's her appearance once again that has got the pondscum on the internet poking fun at Jessica Simpson. After her battle with the bottle, a divorce, and the upbringing of her child, she is returning to the public eye. It didn't take long for her to become the victim of criticism, though.
Now, I am not a fan of plastic surgery by any stretch of the imagination, but it's a personal choice. Jessica Simpson decided that to treat herself and feel confident, she would plump up her lips ahead of promoting her music on social media.
However, the fans, rather than congratulate her comeback, went straight for her appearance. They commented on her lips, ridiculing her use of lip filler. It just goes to show you how shallow the people in the comments can be.
Hopefully, she has grown past the need to read what people say about her online. They're nobody, after all.
