Jon Pardi Is Going To Need A Swear Jar, The Struggle To Not Cuss In Front Of His Kids

One of the hardest things about being a parent is trying to rid yourself of bad habits. It's easy to forget: those kids watch and listen to every little thing you do. Every song you play, every movement you make, they track all of it. Most of all, they listen to the words that come out of your mouth. It may not always register immediately because their little brains are still developing. However, if you have a tendency to cuss like Jon Pardi does, they're going to pick up on it.

So if you swear up a storm, try and get to it before it's too late. Otherwise, you'll be in the same boat as Pardi, desperately trying to alter your entire vocabulary so the kids don't utter the same phrases. Recently, Jon went on the Whiskey Riff Raff podcast to promote his latest album Honkytonk Hollywood. There, he opens up about his greatest weakness as a parent: cursing. Apparently, his young daughters are picking up on his awful habits.

Jon Pardi's Daughters Are Picking Up on His Bad Cursing Habit

"I've been trying to not curse as much. I've been trying to be good also because now my baby girls are starting to be copycats of stuff. And it starts everywhere. I'm trying. So I'm trying to clean it up. It all starts in practice, right?" Jon explains.

It's definitely something Pardi is earnestly giving his best shot to stop. However, there is one word in particular that he can't seem to get rid of in his everyday vernacular. "I've been good. I've been trying to be good. But I love saying f**k," Jon admits. "F**k is my favorite, definitely my favorite cuss word. There's so many things you could say or do with f**k. But not good in country music. That's the one word that you just can't include."
