Most people don't really want fame. They absolutely want some life changing money, to live comfortably without the need to worry about bills. But fame isn't something people need or want because it can be incredibly surreal. Imagine going outside and everyone recognizes you. Then, everyone tries to stop you and you can't do any normal activity without some sort of protection. In a sense, your freedom goes away. That sort of visibility can't possibly be healthy after a while. An artist like Morgan Wallen has reached the peak of fame, for better or worse.

However, that's also come with its fair share of headaches. His numerous controversies demonstrates that every action must be calculated because he's under a microscope now. It's something that he's still not completely over either. Recently, Wallen sat down with Theo Von for his Last Weekend podcast. They get into a myriad of topics but one in particular sees him lament what it means to be famous.
Morgan Wallen Still Finds Fame 'Weird' After Blowing Up
Particularly, Morgan misses the liberty that comes with being an anonymous nobody. "It's not ideal to go everywhere, and even if you don't get bothered, you were on edge the whole time because you thought you might [be bothered]," Wallen sighs. "There's things that you just don't do. There's just things you don't do anymore."
Ultimately, the country crooner finds most of his solace in going hunting. All the pressures of the world melt away when he's somewhere no one can find him. "I can go be with my buddies. I'm in the middle of nowhere. I can be at ease," Wallen explains. "I can not stress out. You just find ways to supplement it, I think, you know?"
Additionally, he jokes that it's probably for the best that he's not frequenting bars anymore. He doesn't want another situation where he's in court for chucking chairs off balconies. "I mean, if you're using a bar as a specific example, that's definitely the best thing for me," Wallen quips. "I ain't been in a bar since the last time I was in a bar that everybody knows about."
