Jelly Roll is not an easy man to get a hold of these days. After the Nashville native famously threw his phone in the Cumberland River last fall, Jelly Roll relies on his computer if someone has to get in touch with him. That includes if his wife, Bunnie Xo, or children Bailee or Noah, need to talk to him.

"I don't have a phone right now," Jelly Roll shares on The Pivot podcast (via Taste of Country). He reveals that the only way people can talk to him is with his computer.
"I have a laptop," he explains. "I have a laptop with an email and phone number attached to it. That's the only way I can communicate."
Jelly Roll announced in November that he had gotten rid of his phone, and it wasn't the first time.
"For those of y'all that know me on this app, or have listened to me or my wife, y'all know I have a very unhealthy relationship with social media," the "Save Me" singer says. "I have a very unhealthy relationship with phones. So, I'm getting on here to tell y'all I'm taking a break. It's been a crazy couple of years, and I love y'all so much. I'm throwing this phone out the window tonight. I'm gonna go phoneless for a few months. My friends from where I'm from are used to this. I've been doing this since I was a kid.
"But I love y'all, man," he concludes. "I'm sure that I'll still be posting. I'll grab me a GoPro or something, and I'm sure you'll see me on my wife's stuff, but I love y'all, man. Thank y'all for making this the most incredible year I could've ever asked for."

Jelly Roll was in jail when his daughter, Bailee, was born. She became the inspiration for him to turn his life around, which is a good thing since her mother was recently charged with drug possession.
"I'm passionate about broken people, in all forms," he says. "My child's mother has struggled with drug addiction since my daughter's been born, pretty much. I've seen the effect that it had on her."
"I've got a 17-year-old upstairs that it's truly affected her life," he continues. "It's really hurt her ... The addict is not the victim in that situation. The family is."
Jelly Roll has, fortunately, become an entirely different person than he was when he met Bailee's mother.
"I forgot because I'm 40, and I've done a lot of therapy, and I've done a lot of work, and I have a relationship with God." Jelly Roll says.
