Carlos Santana is a man who knows what he wants. And according to dailymail.co.uk, he wants to team up with Taylor Swift on some musical projects. Per the outlet, "Santana - lead guitarist and founding member of the classic rock band Santana - recently confessed that Swift is one of his dream collaborators."

He said, according to the outlet via TalkShopLive, "I want to collaborate with Sting and Taylor Swift." Santana, 77, sure has great taste in possible musical partners! He even has specific songs in mind that he would like to do. They are reportedly "Natural Woman" by Carole King, "No Woman, No Cry" by Bob Marley & The Wailers, and "Just Like a Woman" by Bob Dylan.
Carlos Santana Seems Eager To Work With Taylor Swift
Santana said in the TalkShopLive interview that, in his opinion, "...[W]omen have gotten a bum rap from the male gaze." He continued that thought, adding, "I gotta get together with my sister [Swift} and take the female queen goddess to a whole other level of deep appreciation and validation."
Santana has worked with other fabled recording artists before. They include Michelle Branch, Rihanna, and Michael Jackson.
Swift Did Not Get A Grammy This Year
It looked like there might have been a new Grammy or two gracing Swift's mantel this year. She was nominated for six of them. As fate would have it, though, she left empty-handed. However, the iHeartRadio Awards were much kinder to her. Swift, 35, was honored with a Tour of the Century award in honor of her spectacularly successful global Eras tour.
It reportedly made more than $2 billion. Mind-boggling! The tour kicked off on March 17, 2023 and ended on December 8, 2024. There were 149 concerts on five continents. I'm sure that anyone who was fortunate enough to be at one of them will never forget it.
She Gratefully Accepted The iHeartRadio Award
After expressing her gratitude to "everyone who toured with us," Swift said, "...[A]nd this tour was absolutely the most challenging thing I've ever done in my life. It's a 3.5 hour show, more shows than I've ever done on tour."
She added, "To the fans, you made these songs from the last couple decades into what they have become so that we could do a 3.5 hour setlist."
