The Adorable Additions 'Sons Of Anarchy' Star Charlie Hunnam Is Adding To His Family

Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam recently expanded his family when he rescued a couple of adorable kittens.

The new kittens (of anarchy, I'm sure) are two "special sisters." And their names? Sugar Plum and Gingerbread. Say no more, I'm already sold.

He rescued the kittens from River Valley Animal Rescue in Illinois, who

made a post about his consistent visits and their adoption. The center posted six photos of Charlie Hunnam playing and relaxing with the kittens, and he looks smitten with them.

They're climbing all over him, and he's loving it. It's no wonder he had to take them home.

According to the shelter, Hunnam was filming nearby but frequently visited them to hang out with the kittens. A brilliant pass time, if you ask me (and my cat). Apparently, he "even took the opportunity to FaceTime his lady to show off his favorites."

He's been with his "lady," Morgana McNelis, for 15 years, although they have never married. I suppose they're expanding their family now, so other milestones may be on the horizon. Anyway, you're not here for relationship observations. You're here for cute kittens.

Charlie Hunnam Adopts Two Cute Cats

Apparently, the actor told the shelter, "I think I would love to adopt."

"And that's exactly what Charlie did."

"Who would have thought that our two little ladies—once unwanted and homeless in a small town—would end up flying off to a life of luxury in Los Angeles?" they wrote.

The cats brought Hunnam's soft side out, and the shelter thanked him for his visits. "Charlie, thank you for giving these precious kittens the incredible life they deserve. We not only loved having you visit time and time again, but seeing the genuine affection you had for each and every cat was absolutely priceless."

"And this just goes to show... No matter who you are, getting two kittens to sit still long enough for an adoption photo is nearly impossible—even for this experienced CAT DAD!"

Charlie Hunnam is on record for always having loved cats. And I can't blame him. I'm sure his fans are excited for more photos of him and his new cats, Sugar Plum and Gingerbread.
