Ryan Seacrest Put In Headlock By 'Wheel Of Fortune' Contestant

I don't know why Ryan Seacrest volunteered himself when a Wheel of Fortune contestant shared their wrestling past. But he did, and now we can share in the bizarre visual of him being wrestled to his knees.

On Monday night, Wheel of Fortune fans got to tune in to a pretty fun episode, thanks to one quirky character.

'Big Bill' Page was a contestant on the show, and there's so much to say about him. For one, he's wearing a garish Hawai'ian shirt with the faces of his grandkids superimposed on to it. I feel like that already says a lot.

What's more, however, is that he's a former pro wrestler, and still has the moves.

In the episode, when he introduced himself, Page mentioned his action-packed past. Naturally, Seacrest asked if he remembered any moves, to which he said, "yeah, lots of them."

The moment Seacrest asked, "Can you show me one?" his fate was sealed.

Chipper, Page summoned the host over. There was no mercy offered in the cheerful handwave. No relent hidden behind his joyous tone. Without announcing what he'd be doing, Page secured Seacrest in a headlock as though a python pouncing on its prey.

The host tried to tap out, but it was too late. Page brought him to the floor.

Seacrest was never seen from again.

'Big Bill' Page Ended Up Winning The Show

Despite choking out Ryan Seacrest in cold blood, Page went on to win the show.

In a clip shared to her Instagram, Maggie Sajak spoke to Page and shared the moment.

Colorful in more ways than one, he shared his pro wrestling past. He had a "fantastic" night and is certainly a contestant the audience will remember for a while to come.

"Putting Ryan in a headlock, wearing a shirt with your grandkids' faces on it, and solving your way to victory? All in a day's work at #WheelOfFortune!" captioned Sajak, which is a pretty concise way to put the eventful time the contestant had.

I just hope they can find another host before the next show. Alternatively, they may just clone Seacrest for continuation purposes.
