Miranda Lambert has had a lot of important moments in her career. But the most pivotal moment came early in her career, when Lambert was crowned the ACM Awards Top New Female Vocalist in 2007. The ACM Awards shared Lambert's win on social media, ahead of the ceremony's 60th anniversary.

"I think that was just the beginning of a really cool journey," Lambert says, watching the moment that Carrie Underwood presented her with the trophy.. "Like, that was the starting of — it sort of gave me validation of like, 'Okay, my peers see me, the fans see me. I've got to keep going. I've got to keep working harder.'
"And the fact that I won that just showed that the work I had done up to that point, which wasn't very long," she continues. "But it was hard, that it mattered. And so, I think that gave me, for lack of better words, just lit a fire under my a-- in a good way."

The nominees for the 2025 ACM Awards will likely be announced soon. Reba McEntire returns this year to host the ceremony, which will be held on Thursday, May 8 For the third year in a row, the ACM Awards will be held at Ford Center in The Star District, home of the Dallas Cowboys in Frisco, Texas.
McEntire is likely hosting the ACM Awards solo again. But she does have one possible co-host in mind: her boyfriend, Rex Linn!
"I'd love to co-host with Rex. Rex is the biggest fan of music," McEntire tells Billboard. "He and Melissa Peterman are two people who love music more than anybody. Boy, that would be fun. Melissa, Rex and me — the three of us hosting it? That would be a hoot. I would just sit back and have an iced tea and let them do all the work," she quipped.
