The family of Halyna Hutchins has thoroughly slammed Alec Baldwin's new TLC reality show, The Baldwins.

In statements shared with PEOPLE and The Daily Mail, the family of Halyna has shared their disgust over the new reality show. They question the intent of the production and have demanded that Baldwin testify in the wrongful death civil suit filed back in February 2023.
Through the show, Alec Baldwin has claimed to suffer from PTSD from the incident in 2021. He shared how the legal trial and the event itself took a huge toll on the actor. The family doesn't buy his claims, however.
"Why is he claiming that he has PTSD?" the family questioned in a statement. "Is his reality show just a veiled attempt to create sympathy for himself with a future jury pool in our civil case? Is this just a shameless attempt to portray him as the real victim in this case?"
Skeptical of his sincerity, the family also points out the tragic irony of the series.
"The Baldwin reality show at once celebrates Mr. Baldwin's joy of being with his children while ignoring the fact that Alec Baldwin took a child away from her parents. That is the painful and actual reality with which Halyna's parents and sister live each and every day."
Family Of Halyna Hutchins Demands Alec Baldwin Face Reality
Gloria Allred represents the family of Halyna Hutchins. She filed a notice of deposition in New Mexico on Monday, per PEOPLE.
In the notice, they demand Alec Baldwin to testify on May 9 in the suit they filed so long ago.
The legal trial has been an incredibly rocky one that's spanned over four years. Believing they haven't received justice, seeing his face in a reality show would be the biggest insult imaginable.
"It is long overdue for Alec Baldwin to admit and face the real-life consequences that he caused Halyna's parents and sister. It is time for him to face reality under oath," they said.
They also point out that Alec Baldwin made no attempt to share his sympathies, despite claiming to be affected by the incident.
"Although some of Halyna's friends and co-workers contacted Halyna's mother with their condolences after Halyna lost her life on the set of Rust, the man who killed her never did."
"And to this day, he has never taken responsibility for Halyna's death."
