It's more than evident at this point that Elon Musk isn't great with the women in his life. Rumbles of familial discontent are frequent with artist and ex Grimes. His baby mama drama continues with the emergence of author Ashley St. Clair. She labeled him as her baby's father not long ago, writing, "Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child's privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause."

Now, Ashley St. Clair is taking things to the next level. With the news finally magnified and Elon essentially trying to overlook the whole situation, she's done with staying private. Instead, the pair are going to court for custody issues.
Ashley St. Clair Sues Elon Musk for Child Custody
Recently, PEOPLE acquired St. Clair's petition to the New York Supreme Court. There, it reads what she had already claimed on X and that the baby was born back in September. However, it also lends a bit of clarity to how they know each other and Musk's relationship with the baby. It alleges that Elon "has met him only three (3) times and has had no involvement in his care and upbringing."
Additionally, Ashley also provides various screenshots of texts where Elon acknowledges his role as father in the child's life and how he would see them. The last time she saw him was back in November 2024. Her efforts to try and keep Musk as a proactive presence in her son's life have seemingly been ignored. Consequently, she's taking sole custody and paternal responsibility.
Her representative Brian Glickich shares a statement, addressing the situation. "Ashley St. Clair has filed paternity and custody petitions to protect the best interests of her child," he says. "She has made every effort to collaborate with Mr. Musk before taking this step. She has no further comment on the contents of the petitions, which speak for themselves."
