Chloroethane, which can exist as a colorless gas or liquid, can cause temporary feelings of drunkenness, loss of muscle coordination, and even unconsciousness, according to the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Glover's death was determined to be an accident. He had worked at CBS News affiliate KCAL News in Los Angeles since October 2023. Before that, he spent eight years at ABC affiliate KTRK in Houston. During his time in Houston, Glover earned three Emmy Awards for his work.
