Harrison Ford Dons A Kilt For New Whiskey Ad

So it turns out that Harrison Ford looks good in a kilt. I mean, anyone could have guessed that, but it's cool to actually see it.

The star actor has done more than simply pose for a photo for the new ad campaign for the Glenmorangie whiskey brand. If you're simply here to see Ford in a kilt, then head over to their website. It's literally the first thing you'll see. But please come back, I get lonely when you're gone.

The crown jewel of Glenmorangie's ad campaign is the 12-part series called "Once Upon A Scotland," however. Each video is around two minutes in length and gets posted to their YouTube and website every week. So far, we're up to episode 7.

Joel Edgerton directs the videos, which follow Harrison Ford adhering to the 'campaign script' he's been given by Glenmorangie for their ad campaign. Even though it's all scripted, it's funny to watch Ford interact with the campaign in a way that's more natural.

Oh, and for those that want more kilt action, he wears one in episode 4.

Harrison Ford Thought The Kilt Looked Good On Him

We're not the only ones who thought the kilt looked good on the man. Speaking to GQ, Ford said, "The kilt, I thought, looked quite good on me. It hits a nice point above the knee and I was quite comfortable in it."

"My job was, however, was not just to wear it but to act about it—I pretended to be apprehensive, when in fact I felt completely secure."

His does act very hesitant and apprehensive in the ad campaign in a natural way, so it's funny to know he liked the kilt.

In a statement, per PEOPLE, Ford also shared his thoughts on filming the series. "The whole process of filming was full of unanticipated joys: little unexpected moments. It's a tribute to Glenmorangie's sensibilities that they let us be less than totally serious. I think what Joel has produced has a certain charm to it, because it's unpretentious and just amusing," he said.
