The granddaughter of legend Loretta Lynn, Emmy Russell, has just become a mother.

On February 1, Emmy Russell had a baby girl with her longtime boyfriend, Tyler Ward. Both Russell and Ward are musicians, with Russell appearing on American Idol in season 22. Both have been very present on Instagram to document the birth and first days of the baby.
The name of the baby has yet to be revealed.
Both Russell and Ward jointly posted a video to Instagram. "Hit me that tonight is the last night that it's just us," she wrote, cherishing their life together so far. "Tonight us, tomorrow parents. Can't wait to see who you are as a dad and who I am as a mom, but know I'll always cherish when it was just us," she also wrote.
The video collage shows many pictures of the couple together and shares a little moment during her time at the hospital.
Thankfully, the baby they birthed is healthy, and they've since posted some more videos about their baby daughter. Ward has posted one video of him cradling the baby when she was only 12 hours old. Then another one, when the baby was only 36 hours old.
It looks like they couldn't be happier.

The numerous posts they've shared on Instagram have been swarmed with positive and supportive posts from friends, family, and fans. Everyone took to the comments to share their thoughts and support.
"Congratulations. She is precious," one wrote.
"Sending love and prayers!" another exclaimed.
"So much love for you both!! I know you'll be the sweetest parents," writes someone else.
"I am crying with joy!!!!!" one other commented.
Some out there could relate with one of the complications of the birth. Russell shared that she had lost a liter of blood during birth and that she almost got discharged. She wasn't feeling great right after giving birth, but assured it was "worth it."
"OMG this happened to me for my first but we were home. I thought I was dying. Praying for a quick recovery! Rest is important!" one said, relating to her experience. Many others had similar incidents.
