Sam Hunt is still living on the up and up. The "Body Like a Backroad" singer was apparently arrested over the weekend, but it seems like all is well now. Per TMZ, Hunt was charged with speeding and violating an interlock device in Henderson County, Tennessee. The latter was likely due to Hunt's 2019 arrest for DUI and having an open container of alcohol.

Fortunately, Hunt has since mended his ways, which is likely why Hunt was quickly released. He was reportedly issued a simple speeding ticket. He also paid a $1500 fine, and was able to return to his wife and children.
Sam Hunt's Family
Hunt and his wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, already have two children. In November, Hunt revealed that they were expecting their third child.
"I just feel very blessed to have another one on the way," Hunt tells iHeartCountry, adding that he loves every part of being a father.
"I'm obsessed with it," he remarks.
Hunt also hints that fans might see less of him. Hunt doesn't have a show scheduled until May 3, which is likely after Fowler gives birth to their third child.
"I'm hopefully, in the next couple years, going to take a break from touring," Hunt reveals. "The crowds have been so great and I want to get out there and tour while my kids are really young and they're able to come with me."
Hunt and Fowler already have 2-year-old daughter, Lucy and 1-year-old son, Lowry. It's a happy ending for the couple, who at one time seemed to be heading towards divorce. In 2022, Fowler filed paperwork to end her marriage to Hunt, later rescinding the petition.
The Georgia native shows off his beautiful family in the video for "Country House," his current hit single. The song appears on his 2024 Locked Up album.
"The phrase 'Country House,' I connected with immediately," Hunt says. "I initially thought, when I think 'Country House,' I think of the English countryside. Obviously, I grew up in the South, but there is a strong connection between my Southern roots and the English countryside, so that country house feel. So, I took the 'Country House' idea and sprinkled some rural Southern American lingo over the top of it, or imagery, to make it my own or closer to my own experience ... I find myself feeling the pull back towards a simple life like the one that I grew up with, and especially hoping to give that experience to my kids, and this song captures that for me."
