You Won't Believe Which Song On 'The Voice' Has Spun The Most Chairs

Have you ever been hit by déjà vu when listening to the blind auditions on The Voice? Well, some auditionists perform songs that contestants in seasons past have used. Which begs the question, which song on The Voice has spun the most chairs?

The Voice is gearing up for its 27th season real soon. Given the success rate of the following songs, you shouldn't be surprised if hear one or two of them again during the blind auditions. I mean, if it works, it works, right?

Thanks to info provided to us by ActionNetwork, we know the most successful song in all of The Voice history.

It turns out that "Gravity" by John Mayer has been rewarded with the most chair spins. Over the past 26 seasons, over 1600 auditions, over 1100 songs, and over 700 artists, "Gravity" has been performed four times.

When it's put like that, it sounds pretty underwhelming.

"Gravity" has been awarded with 13 chair spins, which is the current record-holder. It was most recently performed by Mac Royals in season 24, where he got four chair spins. In fact, out of the four times the song has been sung, there's been only one time where it hasn't got all four judges.

This was when it was performed by Andrew Marshalls in season 20. Only one judge turned for that performance.

Other Highly Successful Songs In 'The Voice'

Tied second to "Gravity" are "Angel From Montgomery" by John Prine and "Dream A Little Dream Of Me" by The Mamas & the Papas.

Both of those songs have been gained 12 chair turns.

"Angel From Montgomery" has only been performed three times, meaning it's spun all four judges every time it's been performed. "Dream A Little Dream Of Me" has been performed four times, which still ain't bad.

"Don't Think Twice, It's All Right" by Bob Dylan and "Here For The Party" by Gretchen Wilson both have scored 11 chair turns on the show. So, statistically speaking, we're likely to see another performance of at least one of these songs in season 27. And they're likely to impress the judges.

I wonder if any of these rankings will shift around after the next season, also.

In case you were curious, I can also divulge artist whose songs have gotten the most chair turns, which is Bruno Mars with 39.

The more you know.
