Whiskey Myers fans have been long-starved for music, although they may soon finally be fed.

The last music produced by the band was back in 2022, with their album Tornillo. They haven't been resting on their laurels, however. Whiskey Myers has been on the road big time, performing live and touring all over the place.
Although they still have upcoming performances, they seem to have had enough time in between to hit the studio. Cryptically, they've been teasing their next project to their X account. It's unclear exactly what they're alluding to in their photos and video, but fans have taken it to mean new music is on the way.
In their first photo dump, Whiskey Myers shared black-and-white pictures of a studio setting, with the band members wielding their instruments. The second photo dump was more of the same.
Interestingly, the band has captioned every cryptic post with an emoji of film tape. The black-and-white filter further fits the theme here. This could hint at the theme for an upcoming studio album.
The video they've shared is of someone processing a stretch of film tape that's been used to record. If I had to bet, the lead single of the album will have an accompanying music video filmed traditionally in this way.
