A woman has been arrested after making a stand against censorship, by stripping fully naked and taking a photo shoot.

Video footage caught Olga Larrea, 30, stripping naked next to a popular seaside statue in Mexico. Well, the surveillance didn't really matter, as she took a photo shoot of herself and uploaded the pictures online.
The city of La Paz on Saturday didn't expect Larrea to stand upon the statue, of an open clam with a pearl, and pose for her photographer. She hurriedly threw off her dress to allow the photographer to take pictures. The censored photos were obtained by the Daily Mail.
During the shoot, police approached and arrested the nudist.
According to the outlet, she paid a fine of 3,365 pesos, which translates to roughly $160.
Woman Gets Naked To Protest Censorship
It seems that Olga Larrea performed the stunt to protest against censorship. She uploaded the photos to her Facebook, although they have since been deleted.
She must have posted the photos after getting arrested considering the nature of her caption. They were likely taken down due to violating posting guidelines about nude content.
"Guess who was arrested for simply existing?" she wrote, her stance clear from the get-go. "Why is the human body censored, but not violence? Nudity is not offensive, it is natural. Let's stop the shaming, reclaim our freedom, and normalize what is human."
The human body is a natural entity, and the West may be better for destigmatizing it. However, getting naked in public places and clambering onto statues may not be the best way to promote these ideas.
The outlet observed one comment under her post, "Let her show off her body in another place where it is allowed to go nude, where she does not damage any sculpture." Someone else also thought the police should have prosecuted her instead of letting her off with a fine.
Although prosecution is a little extreme, the fine is likely a small price to pay to promote her message. Besides, I'm sure she could have gone to a nude beach to promote her message. She may have had a more understanding audience.
