John Rich has been an avid activist for Donald Trump and openly criticizes Joe Biden online. In the face of the Carrie Underwood outcry, after she agreed to perform at Trump's inauguration, Rich has spoken out once more.
Being a firm Republican, it delighted John Rich to see that Carrie Underwood was set to perform "America The Beautiful" at Trump's inauguration.
"THERE SHE IS:) Carrie is a Patriot," he said after reposting news about the event.
Not everyone is as happy as John Rich, however. Some of Underwood's fans are incredibly disappointed by this. Speaking online, her dejected fans are threatening to boycott her music and never listen to her music again.
Responding to this, John Rich decided to speak up about the number of secret Republicans the country music industry has.

American politics is extremely polarizing in this day and age. So I'm sure news of there being many hidden Republicans has made the days of some, and ruined the days of others.
"I would like to know them all so I can support them all. My playlists consist of you & all patriot artists," comments a fan in response.
"Carrie Underwood has always been a real American and this just makes [her] fans love her even more!" says another one. Although this isn't exactly true, some fans have expressed delight that she'll be performing at the inauguration.
Underwood herself has talked about her inauguration performance, she didn't take a political stand. She said that her interests are in American unity and that it's an honor to perform at the inauguration. It is arguably one of the most important events in the United States, so some sort of honor is expected.
John Rich likely won't ever name-drop any of the Republican artists he's alluded to, as it isn't his place. But now everyone knows they're out there. With Carrie Underwood performing for Trump, and as Trump will soon be in office, we may see more Republican artists step forward with their views.
