Wildfires are ravaging through Los Angeles, as homes and property are being burned to the ground. Meanwhile, one ABC reporter made sure to look his best as he used pegs to tuck in his jacket. Something Jack Osbourne was quick to tear into.

Osbourne posted to X a clip of the ABC reporter. He wrote, "Nice Jacket Bro. Glad you look nice and svelte with those clothes line pegs, while our city burns to the ground. @elonmusk."
In the clip shared, reporter David Muir can be seen with thick clothes line pegs attached to the back of his jacket. This is a technique to pull back excess material and hold it in place to make the form of the jacket slimmer.
Muir was reporting from the Palisades fire, wearing a flame-retardant jacket for safety reasons. Such things can be quite baggy and excessive, which Muir apparently was not willing to accept. Making sure his figure looked good before reporting live from such a devastating scene will leave a bitter taste in the mouths of viewers.
Being called out for the vain practice, the internet sided with Osbourne's critique of the journalist. The wildfires are a critical concern, as five of them roar through LA as we speak. Now is not the time to be adjusting your safety equipment.
