James Woods is having a tough week. The actor revealed that he lost his home during the devastating wildfire in Pacific Palisades. The celeb got emotional during an interview on CNN.

He revealed that his wife's little niece offered to help them rebuild their home after the wildfire devastated their community. He said that his wife's 8-year-old niece "came out with her little piggy bank for us to rebuild our house."
Upon recounting the story, Woods lost it and started crying, trying to fight back tears. He's obviously heartbroken.
"I'm sorry, it's just one day you're in the pool and the next its all gone," Woods said. "I'm sorry, I thought I was stronger than this..." He was comforted by his interviewer on the network, who said that he didn't have to be strong.
Previously, Woods documented the fire from his home on social media.
He wrote, "I took this last night from our beautiful little home in the Palisades. Now all the fire alarms are going off at once remotely. It tests your soul, losing everything at once, I must say."

He also thanked everyone on social media for their support. "To all the wonderful people who've reached out to us, thank you for being so concerned. Just letting you know that we were able to evacuate successfully," Woods said in a post on X.
In a different post, Woods thanked all of the firefighters and emergency responders for helping them.
"We were blessed to have LA fire and police depts doing their jobs so well. We are safe and out," he posted. "There are several elementary schools in our neighborhood and there was an enormous community effort to evacuate the children safely. Can not speak more highly of the LA fire and LAPD."
However, Woods also had to deal with internet trolls as well.
The person wrote, "The irony of James Woods, known for his skepticism about climate change, losing his home to the very wildfires linked to climate change impacts in California, is striking."
Woods responded, "This fire is not from 'climate change,' you ignorant a-shole. It's because liberal idiots like you elect liberal idiots like Gavin Newsom and Karen Bass. One doesn't understand the first thing about fire management, and the other can't fill the water reservoirs. #INSTABLOCK."
