People will debate you all day about whether or not smoking weed is good for you or not. It never really seems to lie in the 'it depends' category. Some people absolutely need it for mental health purposes, the same way a prescription drug might do the trick. Oftentimes, it's necessary to slow down a painfully rapid mind, overthinking and causing panic attacks. Without the routine, it can cause you to lose some mental stability. This seems to be the case for Miley Cyrus' mom Tish, who is still learning how to function after going cold turkey as a smoker.

Recently, Tish spoke on her Sorry We're Cyrus podcast with her daughter Brandi. There, the 57 year old explains how the decision to stop smoking weed wasn't entirely of her own volition. "It was kind of by accident that I stopped smoking,'" she explains. "I went on vacation and it was somewhere I could not have pot and like three days in, [I] had the worst anxiety I've ever had in my life. And when I tried to smoke again... Nope."
Tish Cyrus Explains How Quitting Her Weed Habit is Bringing Bad Anxiety
Apparently, it's been seven months since that trip where Cyrus had to cut the habit out. Additionally, Tish feels like her anxiety continues to ravage her days. However, upon trying to pick up a joint again and continue like normal, she's found that weed is making it worse for her. ""I smoked pretty hardcore for like, 10 years. The last seven months has been so bad for me. Like, major anxiety," she says. "It really did just help me in so many ways. And lately I just have not been OK."
Maybe this is something Tish could talk to Willie Nelson about because he doesn't seem to have any of these issues. Anything to try and overcome such overwhelming anxiety.
