The Alabama country singer fled Orange Beach, Alabama for Nashville in November to attend the CMAs. Now, he's having to live with the consequences of that decision. After posting to social media at the event, Tanner got a warrant out for his arrest.

Now, a Mobile County judge ordered the rising country artist to wear an ankle monitor. He must wear the electric monitor because violated his bond. He's basically under house arrest. The singer can't leave his home except to go to work, doctors appointments, court appearances, or to go to church.

Country Artist Goes To CMAs

This comes after a warrant for his arrest.

The court wrote, "Under Alabama Rule of Criminal Procedure, it is a mandatory condition of bond that the defendant not depart the state without leave of court. [Tanner] did not seek permission to travel to the state of Tennessee. And so has intentionally violated a mandatory condition of his bond...

Given that the defendant was well versed in the travel conditions of his bond. And given his public disregard for those restrictions, the state seeks to revoke his bond."

Per his bond agreement, Tanner was not supposed to leave Alabama without permission. So, the court was shocked to find him in Nashville at the CMAs and posting about in on social media.

"To everyone who has supported my music and believed in this dream your encouragement has brought me to this unforgettable moment," he wrote in a Nov. 21 Instagram post. "Here's to country music and the stories that bring us all together."

Tanner also released his single "All We Need" in March. The singer is facing charges for two counts of first-degree insurance fraud, theft of property, and attempted theft. Tanner is also president of ATA Loss Consulting, an insurance claims consulting agency.

The singer will go to court to decide if he's guilty and what his ultimate sentence for the charges will be.
