Indeed, 90s alternative rock trailblazer Alanis Morissette dropped the bombshell on Tig Notaro, Fortune Feimster, and Mae Martin's podcast Handsome in an episode that dropped on Nov. 3.

"I'm sorry for the men that hurt you, but I'm not sorry for the songs that came from it," Feimster told the pop superstar near the conclusion of the episode.

"Did it make you want to be a lesbian at any point?" Feimster added jokingly.

However, the 52-year-old "Head Over Feet" singer shot back with a serious revelation.

"I'm pansexual, so yeah," Morissette told the surprised trio.

"Wait, you're not really pansexual, are you?" Notaro carefully asked.

"I am," the "You Oughta Know" singer seriously shot back.

Notaro then joked that such a bombshell should've been dropped much earlier in the podcast rather than after the first hour of conversation.

"You're supposed to come into the Handsome podcast leading with, 'I'm pansexual,'" the comedian insisted.

"You know, I like to leave it for the epilogue," Morissette told the host.

Alanis Morissette Recently Revealed a Fan-Favorite 'Sex And The City' Moment Was Her Idea

For those not up on their LGBTQ's, pansexuality is attraction to people of all genders, or attraction where gender doesn't matter. Other high-profile celebrities have claimed the label recently, like X-Files star Gillian Anderson. "In my younger years I was in relationships with women," she told The Australian in September after declaring herself pansexual.

That said, this isn't the first time Morissette has teased she may not be a standard-issue heterosexual. Back in September, she regaled Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper by recounting the time she kissed Sarah Jessica Parker during a 2000 guest appearance on Sex and the City. The singer claimed the big moment was her idea.

Meanwhile, Morissette married her husband, Canadian hip-hop artist Mario "Souleye" Treadway, back in 2010. The couple shares three children whose ages range from 15 to 3.

Of course, Morisette rose to fame in 1995 with Jagged Little Pill, one of the decade's biggest-selling albums. Adapted into a Broadway musical in 2019, it earned her two Tony Awards. This year, the pop superstar was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
