A Utah woman woke up to the scary news that two of her children had gone missing. However, she soon found out that her 7-year-old boy had taken her car to drive her younger sister to McDonald's. The mother, Whitney Bush, has grounded him for life.

Bush's big scare started on Sunday, April 27, as the Clearfield Police Department knocked on her door, according to ABC4.
"I absolutely had my heart in my stomach," she told the outlet. "I had no idea what was going on, I was being told different stories of what was happening."
Turns out, police, according to PEOPLE, had been notified of a "reckless driver," according to a statement shared with the outlet. Moreover, reports suggested that the driver was also a child.
"Subsequent investigation revealed that the incident originated in Clearfield, where a 7-year-old boy had taken a family vehicle without parental knowledge," the police statement read. "The vehicle traveled through multiple jurisdictions before Ogden Police received the reckless driving complaint."
A McDonald's Craving
According to Bush, her son had a McDonald's craving, so he decided to make the trip. Instead, he ended up driving recklessly, even passing several of them along his route.
Eventually, however, as per police, the boy crashed into a parking strip. ABC4 further reports that the boy even hit another driver, with him and his sister even stepping out of the vehicle, flipping off the other driver, according to him. This attitude, of course, surprised Bush, saying that she didn't know where they had learned that from.
Fortunately, the boy and his sister were unharmed.
"I went to the scene of the crash... and then I got rerouted to the police department," Bush added. "They had already had — I guess — EMS come out and check on my kids and transferred them over to the police station."
While her son does not face charges given his age, Whitney Bush is having him perform community service for her neighbors.
"I'm not proud of him by any means," Bush said. "He's in a world of trouble, he's probably grounded for the rest of his life."
